The blind or visually handicapped user hears the voice of a speaker who reads out the respective color. More than 200 color names are available for this acoustic service. ColorFast identifies colors of all possible sources and objects, e. g. pictures, clothes, paintings, trees, flowers etc. Can also be used with voice over. Voice over allows using the smartphone via specific gestures, e. g. tipping one time, tipping twice or slide over the screen. Users who are not visually handicapped can of course use ColorFast without voice over or the reading function and simply read the color names of the screen. Better visual effect using sound color synesthesia: ColorFast provides this innovative technology which was only available for expensive high tech devices, e. g. Eyeborg. Perception of colors via acoustic signals. Colors are converted to acoustic waves. Every color has its specific sound.
